National austerity measures have resulted in new draconian legislation on typefaces that is going to affect all designers (whether student or professional) after April 5th. We are trying to find out the exact ramifications for Universities and Colleges to help students avoid breaching the new European copyright laws or inadvertently running up a substantial bill by using illegal typefaces.

The design industry is in the process of lobbying parliament to fight this unfair legislation. We urge you to add your voice to the growing campaign by lobbying your local MP either in person or by Email.
